What time does school start in the morning and when does school let out?
The start of the school day is 8:45 a.m. The school day ends at 3:35 p.m.

I need to pick my child up today and not have him/her ride the bus. What arrangements should I make?
If it is necessary for you to pick up your child as opposed to having them ride the bus, please contact the school earlier in the day. Last minute or walk-in requests for children at the very end of the day makes for a very difficult time to orderly dismiss 550 students.

My child will be late getting to school in the morning, what notifications should I make?
If your child is going to be late for school and wishes to counted for a hot lunch, you must call the school office by 9:00 A.M.. If you cannot call before 9:00 A.M., please send a cold lunch to school with your child. In all cases try calling the school as soon as possible. The office telephone number is 942-2104.

My child is sick and won't be in school today, what notifications should I make?
The child's parents or guardians should call the school office as early in the morning as possible so that the absence is excused. Feel free to leave a message on the school's answering service....942-2159

Where is the lost and found?
The lost and found box is located near the school office. Check with office personnel if looking for valuables and small items.

How much does milk cost?
One carton of milk is $.30 for students in grades 1– 5. This cost will be debited from your child's lunch card.

What is the cost of a hot lunch for my child?
A single meal costs $1.90. This cost will be debited from your child's lunch card.

How will I know if the school is closed for a weather emergency?
Rather than calling the office, please listen to: WLIP (1050 AM), WRKZ, WKZN-FM, WGTD (91.1 FM) or WTMJ. You may also find school closing information on the Kenosha Unified School Districts home page. In the event school is closed, the radio stations will be notified prior to 5:45 A.M. and appropriate announcements will be made.
